DF Public Defender's Office asks for Lázaro Barbosa's integrity after capture.

The Public Defender's Office of the Federal District (DPDF) has filed a request with the Criminal Enforcement Court to allocate Lázaro Barbosa to an individual cell, separate from the other inmates, if he is arrested. In the document, it highlighted the need for “special protection of physical and mental integrity and protection against any form of sensationalism and humiliating exposure.”
The text assessed the “enormous national repercussion” of the case and, aiming to preserve the life of the assisted person, requested that the assisted person be placed in safe facilities in case of arrest. The agency stated that it hopes that, in this way, he will be subjected to due legal process.”
