Driver Robson Nascimento de Oliveira, 48, who has been in prison for a year and eight months in Russia for entering the country with medicine for footballer Fernando's father-in-law, should have his case resolved in the next few days. After interventions by Jair Bolsonaro asking for Oliveira's release, Russian President Vladimir Putin signaled that the case would be resolved and the driver would be released. The information is from Época magazine.

In October, Senator Nelsinho Trad (PSD-MS) and Ambassador Márcia Donner Abriu traveled to Russia with an official letter from the government to be delivered to Vladimir Putin, President of Russia.

After an agreement between Bolsonaro and Putin, the expectation now is that Oliveira will be tried once again and transferred to Brazil after the sentence. Oliveira was arrested in February 2019 for carrying a drug that was not approved for use in Russia but allowed in Brazil. At the time, Fernando was playing for Spartak Moscow.

Last Tuesday (17), the Brazilian, who is being held in the Kashira Penal Unit, 110 km from Moscow, went through another hearing.
