Impeached former president Dilma Rousseff is trying to extract “reparation” from the Amnesty Commission of the Ministry of Justice for having resigned from her “position” as an intern and technical assistant at the Foundation of Economics and Statistics of Rio Grande do Sul in 1977.
Rousseff says she was “verbally pressured” to resign and now demands that the country support her with R$10,735 per month, forever, with “retroactive” effect. If it is since 1970 as she requests, the jackpot will be a lottery prize: R$$6.44 million.
Dilm has already been compensated as “persecuted” in four states: Rio Grande do Sul, Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.
In 1990, Dilma was “reinstated” by the Rio Grande do Sul government at FEE-RS, counting from 1975 until her “resignation on request” in October 2016.
Dilma claims that she was “urged to resign” for “political reasons.” But she admits: she herself resigned in writing.
The final decision on the pension demanded by Dilma will be made by the Minister of Women, Family and Human Rights, Damares Alves.
