Journalist Rachel Sheherazade will leave SBT after 9 years at the station. According to UOL columnist Ricardo Feltrin, the anchor was informed by the station that her contract, which expires on October 31, will not be renewed.
Rachel was reportedly informed about SBT's decision on Monday (7). Sources at the broadcaster confirmed the information to the columnist.
One of the reasons for not renewing the contract is the journalist's high salary.
Feltrin also said that other broadcasters are evaluating the possibility of hiring Sheherazade.
