In an interview with the Band Eleições program, on TV Bandeirantes, federal deputy Joice Hasselmann (PSL-SP) said that President Jair Bolsonaro “knocked” on her door “asking for help”.
“When I started supporting the president, he was nobody. He had 3% of support. He knocked on my door asking for help,” he declared.
The parliamentarian also accused Bolsonaro of abandoning the anti-corruption agenda.
“I didn’t join the Bolsonaro wave, we created this wave together, but the president ended up breaking with causes such as the fight against corruption,” he said.
Joice, who is a pre-candidate for mayor of São Paulo, currently has around 1% of voting intentions, according to the latest Big Data survey.
