Hamilton Mourão stated, in an interview with Epoca Magazine, that the STF ministers need to understand the criticisms made to the Court and not take comments on social media “literally”.
“I suffer millions of times from criticism on social media. I think ministers should understand this and not take what people say so literally, especially because nowadays everyone says what they want,” said the vice president.
For Mourão, the members of the Court do not feel cornered by the threats they receive and that “there are actions in which the Judiciary does not need to interfere”, citing the impediment to the appointment of Alexandre Ramagem to command the Federal Police.
