Former deputy Roberto Jefferson, president of the PTB and author of the complaint that culminated in the Mensalão, denounced on Sunday night (19) a coup that is planned against President Jair Bolsonaro, under the command of the president of the Chamber of Deputies, Rodrigo Maia.
The group of 'accomplices' who would be working towards this objective, according to Jefferson's complaint, would be formed by Maia, Davi Alcolumbre, João Doria, Wilson Witzel, PSDB and DEM, with coverage from Rede Globo.
Jefferson says that former president Fernando Henrique Cardoso paved the way for impeachment.
In an interview this Sunday (19), FHC reportedly said that the Federal Senate, the Chamber of Deputies and the Supreme Federal Court usurped the political agenda of the President of the Republic.
They are carrying out a “shared government” and have only not carried out the impeachment because they do not have popular support.
A PEC would be moving forward quickly to allow Rodrigo Maia to be reelected president of the Chamber of Deputies in this legislature.
Jefferson says that there is pressure within Congress for this purpose, a fact reported by deputies from his party, the PTB.
This is PEC 101, proposed in 2003 by then congressman Benedito Lira, which would benefit Maia himself and Davi Alcolumbre.
Maia has already 'ordered' the president of the OAB, Felipe Santa Cruz, to request impeachment, which according to Jefferson would be ready, awaiting the appropriate moment, which will be signaled by the president of the Chamber.
Maia would exchange the support of the left for a change in the Constitution for his reelection in office, for the admissibility of impeachment.
During the live broadcast, Gilmar Mendes, Toffoli, Alcolumbre participated in a meeting at Rodrigo Maia's house, plotting everything.
