The image of PM and YouTuber Gabriel Monteiro went viral on social media and TV across Brazil this Thursday (03/05), after he posted a video reporting that he had lost his gun license, in addition to having his police card confiscated. Also in the video, Gabriel also stated that he is about to be expelled from the Rio de Janeiro PM, after the controversy with the general commander of the PM, Colonel Íbis Silva Pereira.
Last Friday (06), the soldier met with the Federal Deputy of Rio, Otoni de Paula, who announced that Gabriel will go to Brasília next Tuesday (10) to participate in a hearing with some parliamentarians and will also go to a meeting with President Jair Messias Bolsonaro. The meeting will be to discuss the PM's security and also to request support from the federal justice system, since he is being threatened by factions in Rio.
