Thailand's health ministry has said it is curing patients infected with the coronavirus with anti-HIV drugs, according to CNN.
According to the Thai agency, a 71-year-old Chinese patient was treated with drugs used to treat HIV.
The new coronavirus has already claimed one victim in Brazil and left more than 50 suspected cases spread across the country. We do not know how the Brazilian patient will be cured.
Brazil can also offer a combination of Anti-HIV with other medications to try to cure and combat the virus.
