The current federal deputy (PSDB-SP) managed to close a deal, after a long 7 years of waiting, with a gay nightclub in Brasília, the federal capital.
The case began after Frota was invited to participate in the “Gay Pride Party” in Brasília in 2006. He had a career as a porn actor before becoming a politician. However, he did not go. Businesswoman Nice Pereira, the organizer of the event, went to court and filed a lawsuit against him for moral and material damages, and the case continued to be heard “in the shadows” until the end of this year, at the Court of Justice of the Federal District and Territories (TJDFT).
The businesswoman confirmed that Frota's lawyers contacted her and decided to reach an agreement to resolve the situation and end the process after almost 13 years. According to close sources, the congressman paid R$50,000 of the debt, which amounted to around R$80,000.
