President Jair Bolsonaro fell in the bathroom of the Alvorada Palace on Monday night (23). Bolsonaro hit his head in the fall.
He was rescued and taken to the Armed Forces Hospital, where he underwent tests that did not detect any brain changes.
For security reasons, the president will remain under observation until Tuesday morning (24), the Planalto Palace reported.
Immediately after the fall, Bolsonaro was treated by the doctors of the Presidency of the Republic. Once at the hospital, the team opted for a “CT scan of the skull, which did not detect any changes”. The statement was signed by the official doctor of the Presidency, Ricardo Camarinha.
Minister Augusto Heleno, from the Institutional Security Office (GSI) accompanied the president to the hospital and left shortly before 11 pm. Heleno reassured him, stating that “it’s nothing serious.”
