Judge Marcus Vinicius Reis Bastos, of the 12th Federal Court in Brasília, acquitted former presidents Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and Dilma Roussef in the case that became known as the “PT gang”. In addition to them, Antonio Palocci, Guido Mantega and João Vaccari Neto were also acquitted. The Federal Public Prosecutor's Office in Brasília had already requested the summary acquittal of the defendants.
