Former President Dilma Rousseff's (PT) fixation on the figure of the devil is notorious. After saying that to win an election it is necessary to be equal to Satan, she has now stated that the left will make alliances with everyone to oppose President-elect Jair Bolsonaro (PSL), including, once again, the devil.
During her speech, she explained that such alliances must be based on “anti-liberal and anti-authoritarian hearts” to combat what she called “neo-fascism.” According to her, Bolsonaro’s government is far-right, which “has this characteristic of wanting to moderate the neo-fascists who have now come to power.”
“We will even make an alliance with the devil to fight them. Now, we have to have a backbone. We have to have a heart. And the heart is anti-neoliberal and anti-authoritarian neo-fascist. That is our solution,” Dilma said.
