A group of six federal prosecutors who are part of the Lava Jato Operation Task Force have resigned collectively in protest against a very serious act committed by prosecutor Raquel Dodge.
The following prosecutors left Lava Jato: Raquel Branquinho, Maria Clara Noleto, Luana Vargas, Hebert Mesquita, Victor Riccely and Alessandro Oliveira.
According to what was published in Revista Crusoé, the collective protest was motivated by widespread dissatisfaction related to the plea bargain of the former president of Construtora OAS, Léo Pinheiro.
Dodge reportedly asked to archive sections related to the president of the Chamber of Deputies, Rodrigo Maia, and the brother of the president of the Supreme Federal Court, Dias Toffoli.
Not without reason, according to Crusoé, Maia and Toffoli were among those who supported Dodge's reappointment to the position of attorney general.
