“I am 41 years old, I have time to live. I am available”, says Joice about a possible candidacy for the Planalto Palace.

The federal deputy Joice Hasselmann (PSL-SP) once again attacked the President of the Republic, Jair Bolsonaro, during an interview with socialite Val Marchiori, on her YouTube channel, this Tuesday (3).

Joice classified the Chief Executive as a “son’s lobbyist”, referring to indications of Eduardo Bolsonaro

“The Bolsonaro [government] is, indeed, [leaving something to be desired]. He needs to understand that the office of president is the highest office in this country, and that he needs to build this role as a statesman. He is not a lobbyist for his son, to keep recommending his son here and there, or to negotiate with the Supreme Court. He is a statesman.”

According to the UOL website, the former government leader in Congress stressed, however, that she will always be at the president's side:

“But as long as the president defends the issues that were defended during the campaign, we will be together. I will help the president until the last day [of his term], but I will not go easy on those kids. Enough is enough. Brazil elected a president and he is the one who has to govern.”

During the interview, Joice did not rule out running for president in the future:

“I don’t dream, but it would be an honor. I’m 41 years old, I have time to live. I’m available.”
