Government completes 1 year without corruption scandals and party misconduct

Brazilians have been celebrating the past year. At least in politics, after 11 months of Bolsonaro's government, there have been no traditional corruption scandals.

In the current government, the president is the one who calls the shots in the ministries. Before, under Lula and Dilma, it was the political parties that called the shots. Construction companies also no longer have a say.

Today, despite all the problems, the speaker of the House is in charge of the Chamber. Before, the speakers of the House and Senate flattered the president of the Republic in exchange for positions and favors. That is no longer the case.
