Justice Minister Sergio Moro stated that investing in intelligence is one of the ways to solve crimes in the country. According to him, one of the instruments is the implementation of scientific laboratories.
“Public security is not just about police officers on the streets, it is also about criminals in jail,” the minister said on Twitter. In his post, Moro mentioned the Forensic Genetics Laboratory of the Criminalistics Institute, which was made possible by the federal and Tocantins governments. The amount invested by the Ministry of Justice was R$1.5 million.
