President Jair Bolsonaro said that the plane he was on had to make a go-around when trying to land in Sinop, Mato Grosso, due to the lack of visibility on the runway.
The rotten media is reporting that there are fires in the Pantanal when in fact the president's plane was thrown due to fires on a private farm in that location for the next harvests.
After the maneuver, the plane landed normally on the second attempt. The Sinop airport administration confirmed that there was smoke on the runway at the time of landing, which is why the pilot did not have 100% visibility.
“Today, when the plane was landing, it went around. It was the second time in my life that this has happened, once was in Rio de Janeiro, and obviously something abnormal is happening, in this case the visibility was not very good,” said Bolsonaro.
