President Jair Bolsonaro announced on Thursday afternoon (25) that Professor Carlos Alberto Decotelli da Silva will be the new Minister of Education. The appointment decree was published in an extra edition of the Official Gazette of the Union. In a post on social media, Bolsonaro published a photo alongside Decotelli and highlighted the new minister's academic background.
“Decotelli holds a bachelor’s degree in Economic Sciences from UERJ, a master’s degree from FGV, a doctorate from the University of Rosario, Argentina, and a post-doctorate from the University of Wuppertal, in Germany,” wrote the president.
Bolsonaro once again puts the left in its place and shows that he is not prejudiced and puts a super competent black man to take over the Ministry of Education.
