Sergio Moro once again made comparisons between President Jair Bolsonaro and Lula.
In an interview with Agence France-Presse, Moro said that the two have “a somewhat populist character” and are examples of extremes of the Brazilian political spectrum, which “should be avoided”.
“Both have a somewhat populist character in the formulation of public policies, with the difference being that President Bolsonaro would be a right-wing populist, and Lula, a left-wing one.
And he added:
“In a way, [Bolsonaro and Lula] are two extremes, in my respectful opinion, that should be avoided”
