Pro-Bolsonaro protesters harassed the mayor of Salvador as he left Brasília airport this Sunday.
A crowd that was protesting and pressuring deputies not to vote for Baleia Rossi, Maia's candidate, went after the leader of the DEM, the same party as Rodrigo Maia, shouting slogans: “out with ACM”, “Anãozinho dictate”, “Communist”…
In one part of the video, it is possible to see the mayor getting angry and arguing with the protesters, however, it is not possible to hear what he says.
The party leader probably came to Brasília on the occasion of the election of the board of directors of the Chamber of Deputies to participate in the final negotiations around the candidate Arthur Lira, as information circulated in the media this week that a wing of the DEM loyal to ACM Neto had broken with Maia.
The election in the chamber is scheduled for February 1st from 6 pm.
