On Tuesday afternoon (03/08), a 14-year-old boy killed his father with three shots inside his own home, in Valinhos, in the interior of São Paulo. The boy had allegedly shot to defend his mother who was being attacked by the man, according to the Civil Police. The information is from iG.
Military Police Lieutenant Maxwel told TV Band that the family lives in a high-end condominium and has eight weapons at home, including a rifle and a submachine gun. According to reports, all of them are registered.
“According to the police officers who responded to the incident, the man was constantly assaulting his wife and son, and there was a lot of physical and psychological violence. Today, the teenager, unable to bear the situation any longer, grabbed one of the weapons and shot his father, who died at the scene,” he said.
The crime took place in the Joapiranga neighborhood and the businessman's body was left lying in the garage of the residence. Although rescue services were called, the man did not survive and died at the scene.
The forensic team was also called and collected some weapons from the house. The case will be registered at the Valinhos Police Station and is under investigation. According to the publication, the agents spent the day talking to neighbors and listening to statements.
