President Jair Bolsonaro is leading and would win in all scenarios for the 2022 election, according to data collected by the Exame/IDEA survey, released this Friday, the 4th. In a possible dispute in the first round, the current head of the federal government appears with 31% of voting intentions, against 17% of former president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, and 13% of former Minister of Justice, Sérgio Moro. In a possible second round against the PT leader, Bolsonaro also appears ahead, with 42% of votes, against 31% of his strongest opponent. In a direct dispute with Moro, the former captain leads with 38%, against 31% of his former ally, highlights the Young Pan.

In the complete survey of the first round, other candidates with less chances also scored, such as leftist Ciro Gomes, who appears with 6% of the electorate's preference, compared to 5% of the presenter Luciano Huck and 4% of the former Minister of Health, Luiz Henrique Mandetta. The governor of São Paulo, João Doria, has only 3% of the voting intentions, the same number as João Amoedo. Marina Silva appears with 2% of the votes, and the governor of Maranhão, Flávio Dino, has 1% of the preference. Voters who still do not know who they will vote for total 7%, the same amount of those who said they will vote blank or null.

Research has been seen as a direct result of rise in popularity of the Jair Bolsonaro government, even taking a vertical position against what the media preaches in relation to the Coronavirus pandemic, Jair Bolsonaro has achieved the best popular approval numbers.
