The governor of São Paulo, João Dória (PSDB) said he will react if the federal government turns its back on the state, the epicenter of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country.
“It would be very reasonable that, since São Paulo is the epicenter, the Ministry of Health, with or without a minister, would prioritize São Paulo, obviously,” he said. “It is unacceptable that the Ministry of Health first does not have a minister in the face of a pandemic of this size. And then turns its back on São Paulo, the epicenter of the pandemic, which needs ventilators like other capitals. I repeat, this is the epicenter, and some priority must be given to a pandemic where São Paulo has the highest number of infected people and deaths.”
The curious thing is that São Paulo should be the state with the fewest cases, since the governor is so concerned and is implementing total isolation. However, hydroxychloroquine is not the governor's plan to save lives.
Bolsonaro never said he would turn his back on states, on the contrary, he has been helping to stop Covid-19, unlike governors who play politics with the disease and still steal funds that should be used to fight the virus.
Dória thinks people are stupid and should believe his cheap moves!
