Federal deputy Boca Aberta (Pros-PR) today filed a bill in the Chamber of Deputies that proposes the “amputation of the hands” of corrupt politicians. This is a good one!
This bill is unlikely to be put to a vote in the Chamber. But be aware that if it were ever approved, 99% of Brazilian politicians would have their hands amputated.
According to the parliamentarian's project, under number 582, of 2020, the justification for the measure would be that “politicians take advantage of the good faith of voters, do not comply with anything, and nothing happens to them”.
According to the congressman from Paraná, the inspiration for the proposal came from countries such as Iran and North Korea. “The population is tired of suffering at the hands of unscrupulous and cold politicians, bad, inhumane people.”
