The regrettable suicide of the young gay man Yago Oliveira, who could not handle the pressure from his extremely religious and prejudiced family who did not accept him, and ended up killing himself.
Well, as if the unfortunate event weren't enough, the amendment became worse than the sonnet. According to the website Mixturando Web and also shared by the portal Para Mocinhos, when asked after the incident, the boy's mother even said that she would rather him be dead than alive and in sin. Apparently, religious alienation didn't allow her to learn even in the worst way... or was pride really much greater than love, right?
In his last post before committing suicide, Yago commented: “I am the shame of the family for the simple fact of being gay, after all, as they say, being gay is a sin, but being racist, corrupt, murderous, rapist, pedophile and not raising children is fine, the important thing is not being gay”.
