Senator Jorge Kajuru (PSB-GO) used the house's podium to speak about the case.
The senator criticized the absurd amounts allocated to STF ministers for food assistance. Are they eating gold there?
According to Senator Jorge, the people provide ministers with a lot of assistance (in addition to other perks such as airfare, advances, Christmas bonuses, armed security guards, armored cars, etc.), ministers also receive funeral and maternity assistance.
The numbers cited by Kajuru are frightening:
Around R$1.5 million/year for housing assistance for the 11 ministers… an average of R$11 thousand per month for each one.
Added to the 'perks' are another R$12 million/year in food aid, around R$90 thousand per month (per person).
