A military police officer shot her husband, who is also a police officer, in front of his lover on Tuesday (10/26), in Guarulhos/SP, after discovering that the man was having an affair with another woman. The information is from SBT News.
According to police chief João Blassi, Reginaldo was having an extramarital relationship with another woman. After discovering the betrayal, the women met and decided to go to the police officer's house. On the day of the incident, they waited for a few minutes for the police officer to arrive, who was at the gym. When the police officer arrived, the police couple started arguing about the double relationship. During the confrontation, the corporal pulled out a firearm and fired a shot, hitting the police officer in the hip.
The lover was unharmed, she was terrified by what happened and ran to her car. Images from cameras on the street show the moment of the argument and the moment when the woman shoots her partner.
Reginaldo was taken conscious by an advanced unit of the Fire Department to one of the hospitals in the region. The incident was forwarded to the 4th Police District, in the Pimentas neighborhood, where the case will be investigated.
The lover was named in the police report as a witness.
