According to the text, citizens have the right to choose whether or not to be vaccinated. However, those who do not get vaccinated and subsequently contract the disease will have to pay for hospital costs through the SUS.
Bill 4987/20 establishes that Brazilian citizens who voluntarily do not get vaccinated against Covid-19 will have to pay for their treatment if they later become infected with the new coronavirus.
The proposal, from the deputy Alexandre Frota (PSDB-SP), is being processed in the Chamber of Deputies.
The parliamentarian argues that Brazil is going through a difficult time in its health system, but at the same time it has invested huge amounts in vaccine research to contain Covid-19. The investment, he says, is only possible due to the tax burden imposed on citizens.
The deputy is trying to kill the people with an injection that has not yet been validated, much less has its effectiveness guaranteed.
Alexandre Frota only carries out projects that are against his own voters, that is, the deputy was elected behind the president's back and today he does everything against the tastes of the population and against the ideals of his electorate.
