A week after the government announced an agreement with Congress on the vetoes in the mandatory budget, President Jair Bolsonaro ordered his aides to return to the negotiating table. Angry, Bolsonaro told ministers that he does not want to be “hostage” to the legislature, asking for money from lawmakers and stated that he will take the matter to court if his vetoes are overturned in Congress.
Congress is trying in every way to control President Jair Bolsonaro.
