And it turns out that 'NGO workers' set fire to the Amazon
The Civil Police of Pará arrested four 'environmentalists' in Alter do Chão, a region of the Amazon rainforest. The four were part of an entity fighting fires.
According to Civil Police investigators, there is strong evidence that NGOs (Non-Governmental Organizations), including the Alter do Chão Fire Brigade, acted as the cause of the fire in that Amazon region.
Investigations point to a peculiar mode of operation: the firefighters set fire to the forest and then worked to fight it.
