Jair Bolsonaro, at the Alvorada Palace, downplayed the virus again and then hinted that he will fire more ministers:
“I am truly the Constitution. And what’s more: I have led Brazil in a way that is guided by and faithful to the interests of the Brazilian people. Where am I going wrong? My team does not work at dawn, my team works in broad daylight. All people are chosen with criteria. Some who deviate from the criteria, the pen will work, the pen will work. That is why I am president: to decide. If I have to fire any minister, I will fire him. I am not threatening, far from threatening. Now, if he deviates from what I promised during the pre-campaign, unfortunately he is in the wrong government, he will go to the other boat, he will try in 2022.” The president states.
